关于proof阵营和voodoo阵营的论战

所谓的proof阵营，这是我自己起的名字，包含我们所尊敬的Tom，JL等大师。
所谓的voodoo阵营，这是根据Howard J. Rogers发表的Voodoo Tuning一文而来，eygle在Howard J. Rogers创造的新词组:Voodoo Tuning中也谈过一些看法，包括我们所熟知的（此处未用尊敬一词，个人立场已经很是鲜明，惭愧惭愧）Don，Mike等专家。
之所以又提到这个由来已久的论战，是因为今天收到dba-oracle的邮件，提到Mike Ault有新作describing the current Oracle myths and traps发表，但是邮件上给你URL居然不对,ft......于是就直接上dba-oracle找了一下，如果没有更新的文章的话，那么应该是这篇 Oracle Myths Revisited，同时又注意到Mike Ault还有另外一篇 Understand the Oracle “proof” Myth，这两篇文章大致浏览了一下，我想任何关注过Don和Tom之间论战的人都会跟我有相同的感觉，大抵上是谁也看不起谁，呵呵，虽然在我们看来是voodoo阵营有些嘴硬，毕竟国内大多数人都是Tom，JL的fans，话说回来，proof阵营的文章确实给人一种入手巧妙、心悦诚服的感觉，而voodoo阵营的东西则不免有些夸夸其谈、空洞无物的嫌疑。
以前看过Mike Ault关于磁盘的一篇文章，记忆中感觉还是不错的，不知道怎么就加入voodoo阵营了呢？其实说句实话，无论哪个阵营，估计其中随便抓出一位来，技术还是比我强的多，这就更让自己惭愧啊惭愧。
BTW： Oracle Myths Revisited这篇文章图文并茂，倒也有趣。

这场论战缺少了steve还是让人感觉有点遗憾，不过jl,tom的组合已经够强大了，don方面只有招架之功
steven估计都已经退隐江湖，Ixora好像不再见任何更新了
steve没隐退，下个月还做讲座呢
