Oracle10g与各版本的连通性

昨天有朋友问到Oracle10g和Oracle8i的连通性问题,一时记不清楚,同事作了一些测试.得到的结论是:

Oracle8.1.5可以连接Oracle10g
Oracle8.1.7也可以连接Oracle10g
Oracle10gR2可以连接Oracle8.1.7,但是不能连接Oracle8.1.5
Oracle10g和Oracle9i各版本可以互连.

简要记录于此:

1.Oracle8.1.5连接Oracle10gR1

oracle:/oracle/oracle8/network/admin>sqlplus /nolog
            SQL*Plus: Release 8.1.5.0.0 - Production on Wed Apr 5 17:21:30 2006

            SQL> conn mlqin/*****@mmsdb

2.Oracle8.1.7连接Oracle10gR2

            SQL> conn mlqin/*****@hsstat
            Connected.
            SQL> select * from v$version;

3.Oracle10gR2连接Oracle8.1.7.4

$ sqlplus /nolog

            SQL> conn mlqin/*****@test8
            Connected.
            SQL> select * from v$version;

4.Oracle10gR2不能连接Oracle8.1.5

$ sqlplus /nolog
            SQL*Plus: Release 10.2.0.1.0 - Production on Wed Apr 5 17:09:38 2006
            Copyright (c) 1982, 2005, oracle.  All rights reserved.
            SQL> conn mlqin/****@199
            ERROR:
            ORA-03134: Connections to this server version are no longer supported.
